After breakfast you will head east to the Great
Rift Valley and the Lake Manyara National Park. We will drive through
the agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu, situated
next to the Lake Manyara national park entrance. Arrive in time for
lunch and afternoon game drive. Overnight at the Lake Manyara (L, D, B)
Day 02: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
After an early breakfast you head towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stopover at the Olduvai Gorge, an archeological site with history dating back to the dawn of mankind and evolution. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at the Serengeti national park (L, D, B)
Day 03: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will have a game drive en route as you leave Serengeti heading for the Ngorongoro crater. After an early lunch we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for an afternoon game drive. The crater is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Overnight on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim area. (L, D, B)
Day 04: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National
After breakfast you depart for the Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This national park is also home to three rare species of animals - the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Tarangire (L, D, B)
Day 05: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
After breakfast, you will proceed for a morning game drive. After lunch, you depart for Arusha.
